Anita Barone

Barone was Gail Cunningham in The Shoes of Seinfeld season four. She was a chef named Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. In the early 90s, she appeared regularly in Carol & Company as a co-star alongside Carol Burnett. Barone had also played the husband of Carol Willick Ross Geller in Friends' first ever appearance. Jane Sibbett took over her role after Barone quit the show to pursue her full-time job. She was on The Jeff Foxworthy Show from 1995 until 1996, and The War at Home from 2005 to 2007. Barone was co-starring alongside Daddio in 2000. Other television credits for Barone include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthuasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone was awarded the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in the year 2004 for her work in the movie One Last Ride. Three years later, since The War at Home ended the film's run, Barone started her role as a recurring character for the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones as the ex-husband of Barone's character, on two of the episodes.
