Before covid she produced Our Time of the Week as well as co-hosted the series Thirst Trap, co-hosted by Anya Volz. Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. The daughter is an Argentinean who has Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother is of Spanish and English origin. Four of her siblings belong to her father's ex-married partners. Buenos Aires was her home up until the time she reached age 6 when the family relocated into Victoria at London. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos aires to Victoria was a struggle as she was unable to study English, hoping to go back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to after she left Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. At the age of 16, she quit school and pursuing a full-time acting profession. Taylor-Joy was an actress as a kid who knew she would become an actor. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a position as a model.
