Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen. Hello, I'm Anne Phung Nguyen. A Vietnamese American entrepreneur who lives with her amazing fianc JP at Orange County California. Henry is a very happy and lucky father. Most people know me via my Instagram @annephung where I record my personal life: highs, lows, and all in between. My parents brought me into America in 1990, when I was just one-and-a half. I would not be able to share my life story today without my parents' efforts to work to the max and sacrifice. As a child, I knew that I could have a shot at a better future I strived to be their proudest and had tunnel vision for the success. I had a set plan in life: go to university, get a job, marry, purchase an apartment and have children. While I believed this was the standard for successful, my life was not following the goals. The job I held in 2013 was one I had a fear of. The status and wealth did not bring me joy. I thought I wasted my time to make a living. I possessed a love of working out and I enjoyed having fun and helping people while I walked the new direction in my life. I was drawn to personal training. I began my business in 2014. It is my seventh anniversary this year. There are very few Asian women are employed in the world of fashion. In the coaching industry I would like to make a difference through providing high-quality training that will aid others to become more healthy and happy. Additionally, I'm committed to empowering others so they are able to achieve the goals they set, pursue their dreams and live your life to the fullest. While my career was taking flight and I was advancing, my mom passed away. This loss is the worst of everything. To be in Heaven she now rests after an 8-year battle against Scleroderma. However, I carry the memory of her daily. It's incredible how life can give us the exact lessons we need even if we aren't aware of it. There are many ways that the loss of my mother has changed my life. It is my belief that she provided me with another chance to be a part of her story after she passed away. It was Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she passed away. The opportunity was there to begin her new life which gave me my second shot at a fulfilling and happy life. As I enter my 30's, I'm alive and alert. I truly feel that I live my life now instead of merely surviving as I was in my past. As I share the story of my journey, it's to ensure that other people are able to relate to my feelings and thoughts. To know that they're not on their own. It is also a sign of true love. Therapy is a necessity and it isn't uncommon. Also, health is your biggest wealth. My hope is to live your every moment to the fullest and have a death be without regrets, since that's the only thing you can count on in this life.
