It was during the Montreal Olympic Games 1976 that she had one of the greatest moments in sports history - - the first-ever perfect 10, for the asymmetrical bar. Plus, Nadia Comaneci went on to earn six more perfect tens in order to become the youngest Olympic Gold medalist. Nadia Comaneci has not only drawn attention in all directions but also helped Romania to find a spot on the map of international recognition. With a score that was unattainable, this sporting icon brought gymnastics into the spotlight of international attention. Women's perception of athletes also changed due to her achievements.
